Mel & Shawn: Pre Reception

A couple of weeks ago my sister had her St. Louis reception. She got married to Shawn a few months ago in Jamaica (believe me, we wish we could have been there!) and they celebrated their wedded bliss at a winery here in St. Louis. His mom, dad and aunt were able to come in for the celebration. The morning of the reception all the females in the family and Melanie's friend, Tina and her daughter all met up at a pottery place.
Tina did the bubble technique. I should have done it- super easy and cute!
My niece, McKenna, is the little artist in the family. When she was a little girl, maybe 3 years old, we would ask her what she was going to be when she grew up just to hear the answer. "An artor" she would respond. Our little artor is growing into a great artist! :)
We each painted a plate that Mel and Shawn and the girls will use as their everyday dishes. We each could do whatever we wanted with whatever colors we wanted. So fun!

Stay Tuned for pictures from the winery...

JJ's First Day of Preschool

How in the world did that little baby that I held in my arms just four and a half years ago turn into a preschooler? Time just goes faster the older he goes and I'm trying to stop it, but it's not happening.

JJ was super excited for his first day of preschool. He's done our Mom's Day Out program since he was 10 months old, but I'm there. In fact, right now I'm his teacher. He was pretty excited that he got to go to a school where his teacher wasn't called, "mom."
He loved his new teacher, Miss Alee and I was super excited for him! He could barely contain his excitement as I made him stand before getting in the van to go.
He apparently had a great day! He has talked about it and the best part to him is that he gets to keep going back- it wasn't one of those one-time things!
Ty can't wait till he gets to go, too! He missed his big brother like crazy!

Baby Seth: 3 Months

A couple of weeks ago I headed over to Baby Seth's house again. Oh, how he's grown! His growth reminds me so much of my second son that it makes me become reminiscent of those early days with Ty.
The day before the shoot I talked to Hannah and we moved the time back just a half hour because of his schedule. Poor Hannah! She called me at 10:30, the original appointment time, and told me that he was back on the old schedule. Babies- they'll do that to their mama! hehe...
Baby Seth was still alert and fun! No problems there!
Check out the arms on this little guy- love it.
After some pictures he was allowed to go to sleep. Ahhhh...sleep, sweet sleep! Is there anything more precious than a sleeping baby?!?
